 BAD EtherFast 10/100 16-Port Workgroup Switch November 22, 2008
I bought this Linksys EtherFast 10/100 16-Port Workgroup Switch from Amazon for my small business office. It worked for 2 months without any issue and it stoped working since then. Have to call customer service couple of times they told me to send then back for a replacement without even they paying the shipping cost. I decided to buy another replacement switch instead of getting an old replacement from Linksys. br /

I was looking for more ports, in a form factor to match my existing linksys stack which includes a cable modem, and a Wireless G router with a few ports. I now have 16 more ports sitting on top of my stack, at a VERY reasonable price, and I have all the expansion I need for YEARS. I've got 5 PC's and a network printer, storage, blah blah blah. THis is just a great value ... and kept my compact stack intact! Love it.

I have this switch for 6 months. It is always on. No problem so far. I don't feel the heat out of it like other people say about other switches. It may be because the box is big. You cannot directly feel the heat on the box. But so far so good.

This is really good quality item.br /It works seamlessly with the internet and all users.br /It is fast and effecient.br /I would not hesitate recommending this switch to any family or business with an internet connection.br /Never had any problem whatsoever with it!br /Works quietly and perfectly and the background.br /It uses so little power that I hooked it up to our UPS so that when the power goes wonky, we are all still perfectly connected by Voip Telephone.
