Amazon.com Product Description The high-performance HDTVa amplified indoor HDTV antenna from Terk Technologies is designed to capture both UHF and VHF signals (channels 2 to 69) while extending the reception range for all local HDTV broadcasts. The HDTVa uses an ultra-low-noise, high-gain amplifier with Terk's exclusive Dual-Drive Amplifier technology for clear reception of both distant and close HDTV and DTV stations.P As suitable for those living in city apartments as for those in suburban homes, the compact HDTVa lets viewers experience HDTV broadcasts in full resolution. Designed for total reception versatility, the HDTVa's high-gain antenna array can be oriented either horizontally or vertically within its mounting base to achieve optimum capture of off-air broadcasts.P Set the amplifier to high-gain mode to compensate for signals that are too weak or might otherwise be bypassed for a stronger signals nearby. Simplifying your installation, the HDTVa uses Terk's Power Injector to derive power via its coaxial connecting cable. The result? One cable is all you have to connect, making it easy to install the HDTVa atop or near your television.P The antenna is engineered to receive all local HDTV channels, with an operating bandwidth covering both the UHF (channels 2 to 13) and VHF (channels 14 to 69) frequency ranges. Its highly directional log periodic UHF and precision VHF elements are designed to receive HDTV broadcasts with maximum signal strength while rejecting all or most interference. The HDTVa is as exceptional in appearance as it is in performance: its curved, tapering, polished-aluminum antenna elements are mounted in a slim base with a contoured front that visually complements the curve of the antenna elements.P bWhat's in the Box/bbr Antenna with integrated 75-ohm cable, instruction manual, and warranty information.

It does the job! January 8, 2009 I live about 45-50 miles from the TV transmitters, with no hills in the way. This antenna pulls in all channels strongly. I am very satisfied with it, though I wish it took up a bit less space.
Not the best January 8, 2009 Supposedly this was supposed to be the best antenna on the market for HDTV, but i could only get one channel. I purshased the dish looking antenna from radioshack and it picked up everything. I guess its like any antenna as they all work different per your area. The construction of this antenna is first class, I do have to say.
Disappointing January 7, 2009 I was encouraged by all the good reviews, however, it turned out to be no better than the old 4 fin style antennae. Several stations have weak signals and kept freezing up or going out altogether. So I hooked up the terk and... NO SIGNAL said the screen. I hooked up the old one and got the station to come in. The amplifier was plugged in and it did boost the signal as I tested it on the stronger stations. But in the end the old one did just as good and even better on some stations. I guess a big one on the roof is needed or maybe I can talk my mom and sister to finally get a dish so I can have something to watch when I go visit!!
not very happy with it January 6, 2009 After I received this product, I was trying from different directions. I can receive the channels listing from antenna website. However, it is not consistant. Sometimes, it works perfectly but another time it doesn't work at all.
Wonderful product January 6, 2009 I purchased the best antenna at Best Buy when I bought my new HDTV and it was a serious disappointment. When I got the Terk up and running I was surprised by the complete difference between the two products. This antenna is wonderful! The clarity of picture and the ability to get more channels allows me to stay away from the highway robbers known as cable and satellite companies! I am extremely satisfied!!
