Buy a brand name November 25, 2008 I bought two of these and could only ever to get one to work right. My replacement brand name ones work great. I would not but these again.
Better than Belkin! November 20, 2008 The internet is a hobby and a workspace for me, and When my belkin wireless broke I was very upset. I ordered this product and It got here the very next day! I was Worried that it wasn't going to be a very good product for how little it cost, but it works amazing! Better than the Belkin!
Unbelievable! October 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My internal adapter in my Dell laptop sucks and I've been using an old, big Lynksys B adapter for almost 4 years. This was too good to pass up last week at the Gold Box price so I gave it a shot. After installing the software and a couple of minutes of tinkering, it fired up right away and is much faster than my other adapter. Picks up signal great from my landlord's router in a separate structure and about 200ft away!br /br /The only con is that every time I restart the computer I have to unplug it and then replug into the USB port. I could probably restart it through the apps menu as well but the manual option is faster.br /br /I may buy another one just to have in my desk drawer!
Worked great for me October 22, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I saw some of the other comments and it made me nervous but I bought it anyway and it worked great. I would recommend it to purchase.
Decent device for the money. September 14, 2008 Not sure what TRENDnet was thinking. The driver that comes with this device dates back to 2004(!) No wonder that it does not work with Vista.br /Once you get the device discard the disc that comes with it and download updated driver from softpedia.com instead.br /With the correct driver the adapter seems to be very stable and delivers good performance (and speed when paired up with TRENDnet 108Mbps Wireless Super G Broadband Router (TEW-452BRP)).br /I give it 4 stars because (1) it looks cheap and (2) installation is all but intuitive.
