Product Description 13.5x20 New Mini One Sheet Movie Poster
Amazon.com You know you're going to get a different kind of superhero when you cast Robert Downey Jr. in the lead role. And iIron Man/i is different, in welcome ways. Cleverly updated from Marvel Comics' longstanding series, iIron Man/i puts billionaire industrialist Tony Stark (that's Downey) in the path of some Middle Eastern terrorists; in a brilliantly paced section, Stark invents an indestructible suit that allows him to escape. If the rest of the movie never quit hits that precise rhythm again, it nevertheless offers plenty of pleasure, as the renewed Stark swears off his past as a weapons manufacturer, develops his new Iron Man suit, and puzzles both his business partner (Jeff Bridges in great form) and executive assistant (Gwyneth Paltrow). Director Jon Favreau geeks out in fun ways with the hardware, but never lets it overpower the movie, and there's always a goofy one-liner or a slapstick pratfall around to break the tension. As for Downey, he doesn't get to jitterbug around too much in his improv way, but he brings enough of his unpredictable personality to keep the thing fresh. And listen up, hardcore Marvel mavens: even if you know the Stan Lee cameo is coming, you won't be able to guess it until it's on the screen. It all builds to a splendid final scene, with a concluding line delivery by Downey that just feels absolutely right. i--Robert Horton/i brbr brbrbr span class="h1"strongStills from IIron Man/I (Click for larger image)/strong/span table border="0" cellpadding="4" width="100%" cellspacing="4"p p tr align="center" valign="top" tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H1_S.jpg" br /tdp tdimg border="0" align=left src=" http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H2_S.jpg" br /td tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H3_S.jpg" br/tdp tr align="center" valign="top" tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H4_S.jpg"br/td p tdimg border="0" align=left src=" http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H5_S.jpg"br/td tdimg border="0" align=left src=" http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H6_S.jpg"br/td br/tdp tr align="center" valign="top" tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H7_S.jpg"br/td p tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H8_S.jpg"br/td tdimg border="0" align=left src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/DVD/Paramount/detailpages/IronMan/IronMan_Still_H9_S.jpg"br/td /tr /table /p

Iron Man DVD January 8, 2009 I loved this movie. I found the movie funny with great special effects, and most of all I found it very refreshing to see a movie tastefully done without all the profanity that you see nowdays in movies.
Great movie January 8, 2009 This was one of the great comic movies this year even though The drak knight killed it this came in close. Robert Downy jr. was a great person to play iron man and it was a great movie. A must see for any comic fan.
Best superhero movie yet! January 8, 2009 By far the best well-rounded superhero movie... not to cheesy, plenty of action, and a believable plot.br /br /Can't wait for a sequel
Lots of cool gadgets! January 7, 2009 The whole family enjoyed this movie with it's futuristic gadgets and the adventure. Not too violent for my taste, and that's sometimes hard to find!
