ExpressCard eSATA II 2-Port - WHITE BOX

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for MacBook Pro   January 2, 2009

I purchased this card to use with my external HDDs for my MacBook Pro. My FreeAgent Pro (Seagate, for Time Machine) has an eSata port, as does my "portable" drive (purchased enclosure directly from vendor and put a SataII 2.5 in. drive in it: OyenDigital with USB/eSata, FW800, USB).br /I plugged everything up, installed the ExpressCard in the port, and ran the included CD to intall drivers.br /Voila! Everything went to work. OSX 10.5.6 enumerates these two drives as SCSI drives, not eSata, but I'm getting fantastic speed so it's pretty academic how the system "sees" the drives.br /30 bucks, plus an eSata cable for the Seagate drive (the OyenDigital had one included), and I'm a very happy camper. Mac folks, don't hesitate to get this ExpressCard. It works fine, in my experience.
