4 out of 5 stars No Way Could I Have Done This Alone   January 6, 2009
Great product once I got it hooked up. It required a call to the service center to connect to my i-Mac. It might prove easier to connect to with a Windows product.

5 out of 5 stars Linksys Wireless G Router   January 6, 2009
I purchased Linksys Wireless Router to work with my two PC's and XBox 360. And results are exactly what I expected from Linksys. I would recommend this for it's easy to use setup and price.

2 out of 5 stars Installation Issues   January 6, 2009
I have to say that I actually bought this product in the anticipation for the Playstation 3 so that I can go wireless. Unfortunately, I'm still connected wired from my PC. I had an issue installing this modem. First of all, I followed the directions and ran the CD first without connecting the modem. It was supposed to walk me through how to connect and finish up the connection. It gave me a browser screen with a "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" message. It said it couldn't find a network connection, yet I was still hooked up to my current modem, which works GREAT!!! And I'm going to keep, by the way. Then, I went to Linksys support and downloaded their latest version of the Easy connect software. Same thing.br /I did the on-line chat and the guy from India, didn't really help solve my issue. So, I just connected the modem to my PC and went to the administration through the IP Address and "Cloned" my PC Mac address and then that still didn't work, so I went into the administration interface again, but this time I did a "DHCP RLEASE" and a "DHCP RENEW" and it worked. But, again, I'm still connected directly. I'm dreading the day I hook up the PS3 (when I finally buy it) to see if I can see my network!!br /br /I'm going to purchase a wireless card for my PC just to see how I can use it with this new, so called, speedbooster. I may be back with another review. I gave this product a low score because lets face it, if the average person would not be able to use "Easy Advisor" to set up the router, then what good is it.

5 out of 5 stars The Best   January 6, 2009
Linksys is the easiest and best wireless router around. I know that because if I could get it to work all by myself then it has to be easy. Thanks for a great product.

5 out of 5 stars Forget Using The Easy Link Installation CD   January 4, 2009
I spent an hour trying to get my Dell Laptop connected to the Linksys WRT54GS router, using the installation CD, and another unsuccessful hour on the phone with customer service, only to be cut off. I then went online, with my laptop wired to the router, to [..], then to the easy link, and within minutes was magically connected. IT WAS GREAT!!! My Dell D610 laptop works super fast using this router, with no glitches, or disconnects. I like it.
