Great April 7, 2008 This product is great. Instead of hardwiring my house I can use the electrical in the house. My wireless doesn't work to well since I have police officers and firemen living on the same block with their radios interfere with the signal.
Almost Perfect! January 27, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Welcome to freedom! You will experience a life change. This could have been perfect if I didn't have to wear a transceiver (though small). I have seen units at work in which you only wear a head set (built-in transceiver): but I couldn't find this online.
It Died December 15, 2007 Have used this product for over approximately 2 years. It recently quit working. The good news is that it has a 3 year warranty. Bad news I can't find the receipt so I'm stuck with paying for a replacement pair. My fault! If you buy this product be sure to save your receipt in case you need to get it replaced under the warranty.
Easy setup, works fine, with a warning July 14, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I installed this in a room that had a single circuit. Possibly on that circuit were a 650-watt power supply, a high-def TV, an iron and a 550-watt amp. I found that the sending unit worked flawlessly when plugged in to an electrical outlet ahead of the power hungry items or when the power hungry items were not turned on. But when the bridge was plugged in to an outlet after (on the circuit) several of the turned-on power-hungry items, the signal degraded to worthless. Moving the bridge to the first outlet on the circuit cured the problem but required a 50 foot cable. br /br /I describe this as not a problem with the bridge but with the wiring in the room. I offer it here as a potential warning or tip if yours doesn't seem to work right out of the box.br /br /Installation, other than the debugging of the plug placement, is as easy as just plugging the boxes into the wall socket and the network cables (10BaseT) into the boxes. Speed on the bridge-connected system is as good as for the direct connected system.br /br /In several weeks of use, there have been no problems.
