 Just what I wanted January 6, 2009
Love it. I looked all over and this was the best deal I found. This is just what I wanted as I don't like using a mouse and it is wireless
 What's the point December 29, 2008
On other wireless devices there is true wireless, just a small receiver protruding from the USB slot. I love the trackman. I had no trouble getting used to the trackball. But I hate the wire to the receiver. I might as well stay with the wired option, at least then I only had one thing to hang on to when I moved. If they ever get to a reasonable reciver you will never get me away from it. In the meantime back to the old trackball.

I bought the cordless trackman a year ago. Top shelf! Talk about user friendly! Put battery in trackman, plug in the little antenna which lays on the floor and use. It's that simple. A monkey with a banana could use this thing. I use it with my laptop while watching TV in the livingroom. The trackman sits on either my arm rest or little table next to me.br /I use a wired trackman on three other computers and they have been working flawlessly for over two years.br /br /

if you are track ball user you have a trackman basic model with cord would like to up grade to this model. I stongly suggest you not to get this model. it's vey disappointing.br /br /first the ball is not in the middle you think it may not be a issue but it is, it's ver strage to use because you can not move the arrow up down or side to side in a sraight line therefore it's weird to aim it does not make sense.br /br /second, the right click buttom, does not click very well, because your thomb have to move inward to be able to clcik, that is the second thing that doesn't make sense it's not a very natural way of your thomb movement.br /br /i got this wireless track ball bacause there is a click wheel for easy viewing web page , but besides that, everything is not as good as i expected, I am not a very picky person. i thought I can gt se to this mouse but it's been a month I am still feeling strange to use it.br /br /don't buy it!!!br /br /ps. especially if you play online game, it's definately a NO NO!!!

Works great on Mac. Download the driver from Logitech's website. I have mild Carpal Tunel for few years and trackball was the answer. My original trackball was the Logitech Cordless Trackman FX. It was out dated and I need another one for work and home. So I bought the Cordless Optical Trackman. A much difference from Trackman FX so it was strange to get use to the smaller ball. However, felt very good after a few moments. Very smooth. You do need to clean the inside once a while. Bought a second one for business travel.br /br /The only thing improvement I would like to see is rechargeable with a dock.
