 Protection without a bulky case December 17, 2008
So, what did I want for protection for my new G1? A case that I didn't have to take my phone out and put it back in over and over and over again - I would feel that I wouldn't use it as nearly as I do now.br /br /I have had this Invisible Shield on my G1 for almost 2 months now, the entire thing, front and back, and could not be happier. Sure, it doesn't protect it from drops, but why would I be dropping this thing? I have dropped it against my wall (don't ask), and it puts white scruff marks on the phone, but that comes off easily with MAGIC ERASER by Mr. Clean. br /br /This thing was a pain to install, it took about an hour and a half, and had to refil the spray bottle with water, no biggie. However, no bubbles under the shield, and this is the first time I did something like this. Just take your time, and SOAK the shield while applying. You can literally take keys to this and scratch away all you want, and it won't leave a mark. br /br /I can slide my finger on the screen just as well, and it doesn't dim the screen like other $5 cheapo's.br /br /I love knowing that for only $4, I can send this back in an evelope to the company should I need a new one (if my phone breaks and I have to send my phone in). br /br /The only reason other people don't like it is because they don't spend time installing it (do it in the bathroom right after leaving hot steamy water on, and it will get rid of all the dust), and because they don't like the feel. I love that its more grippier in my hands, and I hardly notice, if at all, the "orange peel" effect.

These are highly inferior to the other brands that are out there. I payed close to 11 dollars when it was all done and all I recieved in return was a big headache and a dirty "shield" to throw away. It comes with very unhelpful directions though directions probally could not save this product. I tried to put it on and a bunch of little air bubbles popped up so I tried to redo it and this thing is not able to host a second attempt. It came with a speck of something on the sticky side and thus created a big bump/air pocket in the middle of the screen. I'm out $11, don't share my fate.

I just got this, based on other positive reviews and knew I was in trouble when I read on the package, "It can resist to any erosion and fingerprint" and "It can easily remove without leaving residuary mark". REALLY!!!, besides the improper use of the english language these statements do not make sense.br /br /The protector did not go on and stick well - the corners would not stay down.br /br /Also they sent TWO protectors - a really BAD sign - if the product really worked well only one should be enough.br /br /Recommend you buy another protector.
