Awesome card! January 7, 2009
I use this card in my Canon 20D and it's fantastic. I've had the 1G version for about 3 years without a problem. The 4G is just as quick and has so far been trouble free.
Great storage, great speed, great value! December 31, 2008
Being a Canon 400D user, I've really no use for anything "over-the-top-fast". The Sandisk Extreme III series provides me enough storage and speed to shoot JPEG + RAW as fast as I need, all day long. Two of my cards have already had 10,000 images thrown through each of them, with zero card related image losses! The bundled software adds nice security in the event of a card failure, but the only time I've used it was for a recovering a "bad" card I bought off of Craigslist. For the price it was 9 months ago this card was a value; right now, it's a no-brainer!
Fast and reliable December 29, 2008
SanDisk makes great CF cards that do exactly what they're supposed to: record images quickly from digital cameras. I have a whole range of CF cards from SanDisk, back to a 512MB version that I've been using for years, and they've never let me down.br /br /The Extreme III format is very fast at writing your images to the card, reducing the lag if you're shooting a lot of rapid fire images. This is a steal for the quality and capacity of the 4GB card. Just get it and start taking LOADS of new pictures.br /br /The bulk packaging is great, since there isn't a lot of unnecessary plastic packaging you need to throw away. It just comes in the small snap-closing plastic protective container, and this is great for the environment. Keep the plastic container for storage of the card when it's not in your camera. Why pay for expensive, environmentally unfriendly packaging that you're just going to throw away?
Save Money with Bulk Package December 23, 2008
Like the other reviewers said, this "Bulk" package card comes in the little plastic case that are standard for CF cards. Once you buy one "Retail" version, and get the recovery software, there's no reason to buy anything but "Bulk." I saved about $20, and got a brand new Extreme III 4.0GB card from SanDisk. br /br /I never had to use the recovery software, so even if don't have the recovery disk, I'd still recommend this "Bulk" package card. There's plenty of software on the web that can attempt recovery of a corrupted CF card.

I needed fast load time,with lots of high megapixel picture storage, and a quality built item. Like my other Sandisk CF and SD cards I hay not been disappointed with there products.I need a reliable,high storage,fast loading card,and Sandisk Ultra II,Extreme III, IV Give you that.
