 Meets Expectations December 22, 2008
I realize that Motorola and Comcast are pushing newer technology - for use as cable modems; but this one works fine. The price sure is right now.

I finally realized I was dumping $$$ to Comcast every month renting their modem so I decided to purchase my own. This has been a very easy product to install and use. I especially like the feature that allows me to disconnect from the internet connection when I am not using my computer. It was far less expensive buying from amazon.com than several electronics online retailers. I use this modem with my cox high speed internet and it works perfectly. Very stable performance. In fact, cox told me that it's the same modem they use but they charge $80 for it. Save yourself the money and purchase it here. It's a standard modem and should work for any high speed needs you have.
