Great buy. January 6, 2009 Been meaning to get one of these for years. But I could always move files around between my computers using my flash card and reader. But this was such a bargain. Sure enough, I needed to transfer files to my daughter's computer, didn't have my card reader, so used this. Just too much of a bargain to not have one of these around. You'll eventually use it. And Kingston's a good brand.
Kingston DataTraveler 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DTI/4GB January 6, 2009 I am not a technical person and looked for simple and easy to use along with reliable. I got it with this product.br /
Randy January 6, 2009 I use this product everyday and have no problems with it. I would purchase it again should I need another.
CAUTION BUYER BEWARE January 4, 2009 I tried this drive on several computers NONE of which recognized it. The Kingston website offers several solutions, which is reason enough NOT to buy it. It is such a simple device why couldn't it just plug and play like my other thumb drives. I wish someone would have warned me away from wasting my money. These DO NOT WORK by just plugging them in.
NOT ReadyBoost compatible January 4, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had read a few earlier reviews that said this flash drive is compatible with ReadyBoost. The reviews are usually accurate so I assumed they were right but that was a mistake. This flash drive is NOT compatible with ReadyBoost (I just confirmed with the Kingston website).br /br /Also, the clip seems too flimsy for a keyring. In fact it seems too flimsy even for a strap (they really should have made it thicker and widened the opening).
